About The Position

The Warehouse Driver maintains the production and distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies, staging finished products for shipping, organizing inventory, and operating machinery to move items. The position maintains accurate inventory and shipment records, prepares products for shipment, and inspects and maintains material-handling equipment. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Two years of warehouse experience.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds frequently; ability to maneuver packages of at least 50 pounds with appropriate equipment and/or assistance.
• Ability to perform the physical demands described, including sitting; handling and reaching; standing, walking, climbing or balancing; stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; and talking or hearing.
• Required vision abilities include close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

• Six or more months of experience in an industrial setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, label, and place materials and supplies in stock, and record inventory locations.
• Pull and verify materials and supplies listed on production orders.
• Deliver and open materials and supplies at work centers to maintain in-process inventory.
• Record units delivered and their locations.
• Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing products.
• Record units shipped.
• Complete pre-use inspections of material-handling equipment and perform operator repairs.
• Lift and maneuver packages weighing at least 50 pounds using appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
