About The Position

Distribution International is hiring a Commercial Motor Vehicle Driver / Warehouse employee to deliver and unload finished products, parts, and materials at customer locations. The role also assists with receiving, storing, and distributing inventory in the warehouse as needed, with warehouse work taking approximately 20% of the time. Drivers operate a commercial motor vehicle locally and serve as company ambassadors by providing customer service and building customer relationships. Eighty percent of work activities are performed inside the vehicle cab, with the remainder outdoors. Start times vary from 3:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. or are determined by business needs. This is a safety-sensitive position. Compensation is listed as $13.00–$30.00; actual offers depend on location, experience, skills, and market data, and variable compensation may also be offered.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• A valid driver's license is required when operating a vehicle for company purposes.
• At least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience operating a vehicle weighing 10,001–26,000 lbs.
• Acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle Record.
• Flexibility to perform warehouse duties.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English and use navigation software.
• Ability to perform physical loading and unloading, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength.

Responsibilities
