About The Position

SGC Foodservice is seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Dock Helper to unload trucks using pallet jacks and by hand-stacking boxes, bags, and other items. The work environment includes temperatures from -5°F to ambient, and the position involves frequent lifting of 40–60 lbs., with some lifting up to 100 lbs. This physically demanding role requires attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. No previous experience is required; training will be provided. Holidays are considered regular workdays.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work in temperatures ranging from -20°F to 100°F.
• Strong oral communication skills and basic math skills.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physical ability to perform labor-intensive work for extended periods.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, high lifts, man-ups, chargers, and shrink wrappers.
• Ability to communicate verbally in English to understand work instructions, communicate with team members, and perform essential job duties.
• Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check and substance abuse screening.
• Must consistently meet job requirements throughout employment.
