About The Position

GEMCO Medical is hiring a Warehouse/Distribution Inventory Specialist for its newly opening distribution center in West Jordan, Utah. The position supports warehouse operations for a healthcare distribution company that ships more than 15,000 packages a day. Work includes inventory audits and counts, receiving, order fulfillment, shipping, and facility-related tasks. The warehouse is described as clean, heated in winter, and air conditioned in summer; protective clothing is not required. The role is non-customer-facing and task-oriented. Full-time schedules are available Monday through Friday: 9:15 a.m.–6:00 p.m. or 12:15 p.m.–9:00 p.m., with a shift differential for the later shift. Requirements

Proficiency with MS Outlook and Excel.
Above-average math, computer, and verbal skills.
Ability to give direction and provide training.
One to two years of experience in a distribution environment.
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
Attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of hazardous materials and protected freight shipping requirements.
Knowledge of OSHA compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

Perform cycle counts for accounts, focusing on GEMCO, Edwards, and 3PL accounts.
Perform short-dated product audits.
Audit empty bin locations.
Scan inbound serial numbers.
Load outbound trucks.
Pick, wrap, load, and schedule less-than-truckload (LTL) orders.
Unload delivery trucks.
Put away incoming product.
Move product from overflow to forward-pick locations for inventory replenishment.
Support shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, and facility maintenance services.
