About The Position
GEMCORE is a rapidly growing healthcare distribution company seeking qualified Warehouse Associates for its new West Jordan, UT distribution center. This is a non-customer facing, task-oriented position focused on shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, and facility maintenance. Requirements
- MS Outlook / Excel proficiency
- Above average math, computer and verbal skills
- Ability to give direction and provide training.
- 1-2 years’ experience in a distribution environment.
- Ability to lift at minimum 50 pounds
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Attention to detail
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of Hazardous Materials and Protected freight shipping requirements a plus.
- Knowledge of OSHA compliance requirements helpful.
Responsibilities
- Perform cycle counts for accounts; concentrating in GEMCO / Edwards / 3PL accounts
- Perform short-dated product audits
- Perform empty bin location audits
- Scan inbound serial numbers
- Loading outbound trucks
- Assist with picking / wrapping / loading / scheduling LTL orders
- Unloading delivery trucks
- Perform put aways
- Move product from overflow to a forward pick location for inventory replenishment
