Inventory Specialist - Distribution

About The Position
The Inventory Specialist maintains the daily, tactical management of physical inventory at the distribution center. The role requires effective communication with management and staff, proper inventory maintenance through quality control steps and adherence to distribution center policies and procedures, operation of material handling equipment, and maintaining a safe and clean distribution environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Three years of experience in an inventory or warehouse environment using an electronic inventory management system.
- OSHA or comparable certification with lift truck experience in a warehouse setting, required upon hire, or forklift certification, required upon hire.
Responsibilities
- Manage physical inventory at the distribution center on a daily basis.
- Communicate effectively with management and staff.
- Perform inventory maintenance activities using quality control steps and following distribution center policies and procedures.
- Operate material handling equipment.
- Maintain a safe and clean distribution environment.
