About The Position

This individual troubleshoots inventory issues daily using a standard work check-list. We are hiring for 1st shift paying $18.50-$22.50. This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery. This position has been identified as “safety sensitive” by thyssenkrupp under applicable laws. Accordingly, any application for this position that is considered for employment with thyssenkrupp requires successful completion of pre-employment drug testing, which may include testing for marijuana in accordance with any applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Warehouse experience that includes forklift, packing, measuring, and inventory.
Basic math and reading skills.
Must have basic computer skills.
Interpersonal skills to communicate with plant manager, sales staff, and warehouse personnel.
Ability to understand equipment and tolerances.
Safety Mindset

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree preferred.
2-3 years previous supervisory experience in a related field.
Knowledge of metals handled in regard to proper staging, processing, packaging, and shipping
First aid and CPR training; exposure to safety programs, ISO standards, and Lean practices
Familiarity with sales functions
Good leadership qualities and the ability to build an effective team as well as be an effective team member.

Responsibilities

Review PGI (Post Goods Issue), LX03 (Bin Status Report) and LL01 (Warehouse Activities Monitor) for open issues with daily shift meetings to ensure all material handlers and machine operators are moving material correctly.
Checklist used to determine corrective actions and training as necessary.
Authorized to make inventory adjustments of less than 50 lbs.
