Warehouse Associate - 1st Shift
About The Position
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving and putting away inventory, picking and packing orders for delivery, loading and unloading trucks and trailers, staging, sorting and counting products, auditing, wrapping pallets, maintaining the warehouse, and controlling inventory. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with an expected pay rate of $19.50–$21.00 per hour. Requirements
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to meet minimum productivity standards.
- Ability to perform the listed physical activities, including frequent lifting and carrying of up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting and carrying of 51–100 pounds with a buddy lift or mechanical device.
- Vision capabilities for driving equipment and company vehicles, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Responsibilities
- Pick products in pick modules or from floor locations.
- Flex between stocking, picking, loading, and processing as needed.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers by hand or with a motorized pallet jack.
- Receive merchandise against purchase orders using vendor packing lists.
- Prepare return tickets or warranty materials and record damage to faulty material.
- Put away inventory, pick and pack delivery orders, stage, sort, and count products, audit inventory, wrap pallets, maintain the warehouse, and support inventory control.
