About The Position

Warehouse Operations at Cardinal Health helps maintain an uninterrupted flow of life-saving drugs through the pharmaceutical supply chain. The team performs tasks required to receive, store, and ship sensitive products so hospitals and pharmacies can provide essential pharmaceutical products to patients. The Warehouse Associate follows established Standard Operating Procedures to process orders, including picking, quality control, sorting, consolidating freight, building and wrapping pallets, packing, loading, and preparing orders for shipment. The role involves working in cold temperatures during portions of the shift, cross-training in multiple warehouse areas, and completing projects as assigned by management. The associate also performs housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintains a clean work environment while complying with Environmental Health and Safety requirements. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., or until the assigned task is completed. The pay rate is $20.10 per hour, and the role is not bonus eligible. Training is provided beginning on the first day, and candidates with little to no warehouse experience are welcome.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Comfort working regularly at heights of 20–30 feet.
Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for the entire shift.
Ability to follow directions and change priorities.
Ability and willingness to work in refrigerated conditions of 36°F–42°F for up to 10 hours or longer.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Basic proficiency in English, including the ability to read and write in English to process documents.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with technology such as computers or point-of-sale systems.
High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities
