About The Position

Our Customer Pickup team is the face of that experience — the first smile a customer sees when they arrive and the last impression we leave when they drive away with their items. As a Warehouse Customer Pickup Associate, you sit at the intersection of customer experience and warehouse operations. You'll be the frontline outdoor representative of Nellis Auction — greeting customers, resolving concerns, managing appointments, verifying orders, and loading out purchases safely and efficiently. Requirements

  • One or more years of warehouse or customer-facing work.
  • Strong communication skills and a genuinely positive attitude are essential.
  • Candidates must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and dependable with excellent punctuality and attendance.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills are required.
  • Comfort working in varying weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors, is necessary.
  • Associates must be able to lift, carry, and load items weighing up to 50 lbs regularly, and assist with team lifts for heavier items.
  • The role requires standing and walking for shifts of 10 to 11 hours, along with regular bending, squatting, reaching, and pulling.
  • Associates must be comfortable working in seasonal temperature extremes and must possess the vision capabilities necessary for order verification and safe loading, including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception.

  • One or more years of customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet every customer with professionalism and a positive attitude.
  • Schedule and manage pickup appointments as needed.
  • Process refunds and resolve customer concerns quickly and courteously.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers arriving to retrieve their items.
  • Safely and efficiently load customer-purchased merchandise into vehicles.
  • Verify outgoing orders for accuracy before release.
  • Use handheld scanners or mobile devices to locate and confirm inventory.
  • Maintain organized merchandise racks and consolidation areas.
  • Communicate closely with the broader Customer Experience team to ensure timely, smooth pickups.
  • Assist with additional warehouse duties as directed by management.
  • Follow all company procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
  • Demonstrate Nellis Auction's core values in every customer and team interaction.
  • Maintain daily performance goals.
  • Bring a dependable, solutions-first attitude to every shift.
