Warehouse Cooler Support
About The Position
The Warehouse Cooler Support employee works closely with warehouse staff and the operations team to pull orders and keep the cooler and warehouse clear and organized. The role receives and processes floral products, including staging, merchandising products for sale, and packing orders. It also helps facilitate floral orders by pulling, packing, labeling, and staging them for shipment. The position requires working at a rapid, consistent pace in a physical warehouse environment and learning floral varieties and proper product handling. The employee follows branch guidelines and safety procedures, maintains clean work areas, and communicates quality issues, task completion, or challenges to a supervisor. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; flexibility is required based on product flow, peak season, and holidays, with shifts of up to 12 hours if needed.
Requirements
- Ability to work at a rapid, consistent pace and keep up with the pace of the building.
- Willingness to learn all aspects of the warehouse, including flower varieties.
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
- Team player and dependable.
- Ability to stand, walk, crouch, or kneel.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on product flow, peak season, and holidays, including shifts of up to 12 hours if needed.

Responsibilities
- Learn floral product names, care, and proper handling.
- Inform the direct report of product quality issues.
- Stage products to make order pulling efficient.
- Process products and maintain sales-floor displays.
- Maintain and rotate inventory and products on the sales floor.
- Pull orders according to branch guidelines.
- Pack orders according to branch specifications.
- Assist with counting physical inventory.
- Understand the warehouse floor plan and the functions of areas such as the sales floor, inventory, orders, and equipment storage.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including shelves, pallet areas, workstations, and the cooler; keep the cooler free of debris and excess water.
- Follow safety codes, procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Follow instructions, pay attention to detail, complete tasks, and inform a supervisor of completion or challenges.
