About The Position

Ryder is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator in Apopka, Florida. The role supports warehouse shipping and receiving operations for consumer packaged goods in a clean, organized facility focused on safety. The position pays $19.00 per hour and is scheduled Wednesday through Saturday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Depending on location, the employee may be required to operate equipment and become equipment certified. This is a safety-sensitive, non-regulated position.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two or more years of experience with SAP and a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Flexibility and self-direction to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all levels of the organization, including peers, work groups, customers, and supervisors.
• Ability to multitask and stay highly organized, with excellent time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail orientation and excellent follow-up practices.
• Intermediate-level MS Office skills.
• Intermediate-level knowledge of SAP and a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Some locations may require equipment operation and equipment certification.

Responsibilities

• Check truck drivers in and out.
• Assign dock doors for inbound and outbound activity according to warehouse direction and vendor assignment.
• Verify the accuracy of shipping and receiving documentation.
• Partner with the inventory department to resolve issues.
• Assist with appointment scheduling as needed.
• Update required reports in a timely manner.
• Communicate with customers and assist with their needs.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound loads.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
