About The Position

This position maximizes warehouse picking and replenishment efficiencies through effective item placement and data analysis using company methods and procedures. The Warehouse Clerk evaluates and assigns product locations, maintains permanent locations and capacities in the warehouse management system, and dynamically slots products to reduce picking and replenishment time. The role works closely with the Warehouse Manager and warehouse employees on slotting decisions, location accuracy, capacity, and safety.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Ability and experience operating pallet jack and forklift equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Verbal and written communication skills for interacting with all levels of an organization.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Use MS Excel and JBLC slotting tools to evaluate slotting locations.
• Assign pick locations for new items to optimize picking and replenishment while balancing workload across multiple work zones.
• Apply slotting strategies to new product releases, including limited releases and seasonal products, and consider historical sales patterns.
• Analyze historical and forecast data to determine product placement for existing items and optimize worker productivity.
• Generate a Moves List for items requiring location changes based on sales and JBLC slotting tools.
• Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager and warehouse employees on slotting, slot capacities, location accuracy, and safety concerns.
• Assign and maintain permanent locations and capacities in the WMS.
• Dynamically slot products using company tools to decrease pick times and replenishment activities.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Warehouse Manager as needed.
