Join Staples’ World Class Supply Chain Team and help deliver essential products to customers. Warehouse associates may be assigned to one of several areas, including Bulk/Material Handling Equipment Operator, Porter, Replenishment, Receiving/Putaway/Returns, Returns, or Shipping. Associates may be moved into any of these roles, or SC1 roles, as needed. Depending on the assigned area, work includes operating material handling equipment to move and pick products; cleaning and performing basic facility maintenance; confirming product accuracy and resolving discrepancies or damage; unloading trucks and palletizing products; checking in, matching, and tagging returned items; or organizing, stacking, shrink-wrapping, and manually loading customer orders. Some duties involve manual handling rather than equipment. Associates are expected to maintain a clean workspace, follow safety procedures, and support Staples’ safety culture. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with mandatory overtime. Additional overtime hours may be required based on business needs. The work takes place in a warehouse with seasonal temperature variations and may require working at heights up to 60 feet or more, as well as extensive standing and walking and manually handling heavy merchandise. Pay is $23.95 per hour, including a $1.00-per-hour shift differential. Staples also offers pay for performance, with the opportunity to earn additional compensation by meeting productivity thresholds.
