About The Position

Access is hiring a Warehouse/Backup Route Driver, also described as a Hybrid Driver/Warehouse Specialist (Transportation/Record Center Specialist). The role combines preparing and processing confidential document orders in a records center with assisting transportation staff and making deliveries or pickups at client locations. The position involves varied daily activities, use of wireless scanning technology, customer interaction, and regular physical work.

The posting offers $21.50 per hour for a first-shift schedule, Monday through Friday, consisting of five eight-hour shifts. Access describes itself as a privately held records and information management services provider operating across the United States, Canada, and Central and South America. It provides offsite storage and information governance, scanning and digital transformation, document management software, and secure destruction services.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Ability to lift boxes, recycling bins, and materials weighing up to 60 pounds and regularly carry boxes weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the day.
• At least 1 to 2 years of experience in a warehouse or physical work environment.
• At least 1 to 2 years of driving experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass pre-employment substance abuse screening, a background check, and a DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Prepare confidential documents, tapes, boxes, recycling bins, and other materials for delivery.
• Assist Transportation Specialists with loading and unloading company vehicles.
• Process incoming orders using wireless scanning technology.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies involving incoming or outgoing orders.
• Prepare paperwork required for the day's deliveries.
• Load company vehicles with materials, recycling bins, and document boxes before deliveries.
• Drive to client locations to deliver or pick up documents and materials.
• Use wireless scanning technology during client deliveries and pickups.
• Interact with clients and help ensure they are satisfied and well served.
