About The Position

Bay Building Supplies Inc. in Waukesha is seeking a Warehouse Associate/Backup NCDL Driver responsible for warehouse duties and delivering insulation products to scheduled job sites in a timely manner. Customer service when delivering materials to job sites and customer offices is essential. The role requires safe driving in accordance with DOT guidelines and performing warehouse duties as needed.

Requirements

• At least one year of verifiable straight-truck driving experience within the last five years.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license in compliance with company policy and DOT regulations.
• Pass a driver background check.
• Obtain and maintain a DOT medical card.
• Forklift experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain an acceptable driving record under the insurance provider’s requirements for continued employment in a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Drive to scheduled deliveries and load and unload materials according to a predetermined driving schedule.
• Stage products onto the truck for delivery.
• Maintain the truck and perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report mechanical or maintenance issues to the Warehouse Manager.
• Process paperwork, including tickets, bills of lading, customer-signed receipts, and COD handling when specified.
• Communicate customer service issues encountered at job sites to the Warehouse Manager.
• Perform warehouse positions and duties as needed.
