About The Position

Bay Building Supplies Inc. in Waukesha is seeking a Warehouse Associate/Backup NCDL Driver responsible for warehouse duties and delivering insulation products to scheduled job sites in a timely manner. The role requires customer service when delivering materials to job sites and customer offices, along with safe driving in accordance with DOT guidelines. The employee will perform warehouse work as needed. Employees for whom driving is an essential job function must maintain a valid license and an acceptable driving record according to the insurance provider’s requirements.

Requirements

One year of verifiable experience driving a straight truck within the last five years.
Maintain a valid driver’s license in compliance with company policy and DOT regulations.
Pass a driver background check.
Obtain and maintain a DOT medical card.
Forklift experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Maintain an acceptable driving record according to the company’s insurance provider requirements.

Responsibilities

Drive to scheduled locations to deliver materials and load and unload materials according to a predetermined driving schedule.
Stage products on the truck for delivery.
Maintain the truck and perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Report mechanical or maintenance issues to the Warehouse Manager.
Process paperwork, including tickets, bills of lading, customer-signed receipts, and COD handling when specified.
Communicate customer service issues encountered at job sites to the Warehouse Manager.
Perform warehouse positions and duties as needed.
Provide customer service to customers at job sites and customer offices.
Drive safely in accordance with DOT guidelines.
