About The Position

This position focuses on warehouse duties while supporting the branch as a backup CDL driver to make deliveries when needed. The role splits time between deliveries and warehouse work, uses a Moffett forklift to make deliveries, and involves interacting with customers or crews at job sites. The driver represents Lansing and provides outstanding customer service while keeping the warehouse clean and orderly. Other duties may include cycle counts, inventory, or inside sales.

The workday usually begins around 7:00 AM, sometimes earlier, and ends at approximately 4:30 PM. Hours may vary by location. The posting states that drivers are generally home every night and generally do not work weekends.

Requirements

• CDL B or CDL A license.
• Clean driving record.
• Moffett forklift experience.
• Ability to work independently with efficiency and focus and contribute as a member of a larger team.
• Ability and willingness to lift boxes weighing up to 70 pounds.
• Strong customer service skills, high integrity, and a positive attitude.
• At least one year of driving experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with building products.
• Forklift certification and experience with a piggyback truck.

Responsibilities

• Represent Lansing at the front line and provide outstanding customer service.
• Split time between making deliveries and working in the warehouse.
• Use a Moffett forklift to make deliveries.

• Provide exceptional service to each Lansing customer and continually strive to improve that service.
• Keep the warehouse clean and orderly.
