About The Position

In a warehouse environment, perform a variety of activities related to the storage and shipping of raw material and/or finished product in order to support the overall operation and exceed customer expectations. This role works the second shift and directly on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machinery. It is identified as safety sensitive and requires successful completion of pre-employment drug testing, which may include testing for marijuana in accordance with applicable laws.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to use and understand scanning technology.
• Safety mindset.

Nice To Haves

• Previous warehouse experience.
• Ability to use hand-held measuring tools.
• Computer proficiency beyond the basic level.

Responsibilities

• Sort, stack, clean, wash, stock, and inspect cartons, pallets, or parts as assigned.
• Assist in filling and packaging orders and completing paperwork according to instructions.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment to move or deliver stock.
• Assist machine operators with a variety of functions as required.
• Perform general clean-up activities.
• Maintain equipment in working condition and immediately report issues or breakdowns to a Supervisor or Lead.
• Train others when required.
• Participate in, support, and comply with health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements.
