About The Position

In a warehouse environment, the Warehouse Associate performs activities related to storing and shipping raw materials and/or finished products to support operations and exceed customer expectations. This position works on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machinery and is scheduled for second shift. The role has been identified as safety-sensitive and requires successful completion of pre-employment drug testing, which may include marijuana testing as allowed by applicable laws.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to use and understand scanning technology.
• Safety mindset.

Nice To Haves

• Previous warehouse experience.
• Ability to use hand-held measuring tools.
• Computer proficiency beyond the basic level.

Responsibilities

• Sort, stack, clean, wash, stock, and inspect cartons, pallets, or parts as assigned.
• Assist with filling and packaging orders and complete paperwork according to instructions.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment to move or deliver stock.
• Assist machine operators with functions required to support operations.
• Perform general cleanup activities.
• Maintain equipment in working condition and immediately report issues or breakdowns to a Supervisor or Lead.
• Train others when required.
• Participate in, support, and comply with health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements.
