About The Position

Warehouse Associates ensure products are properly received, selected, and delivered to stores. They work across the warehouse’s Order Picking, Receiving, Returns, and Recycling departments; most associates begin in order picking. Associates work in temperature zones ranging from ambient to as low as -15 degrees Fahrenheit. The role includes operating powered industrial equipment and following safety guidelines. A comprehensive training and safety program provides associates with the skills needed for success.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Motivation to work independently while meeting ambitious productivity goals.
• Ability to switch functions or tasks quickly.
• Comfort operating powered industrial equipment.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, nights, and weekends.
• Ability to lift, move, carry, or slide product cases weighing more than 50 pounds, and frequently reach above the head to heights greater than 10 inches, in accordance with safety regulations.
• Ability to handle Lidl products, including meat, poultry, alcohol products, and foods with known allergens such as nuts.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack goods by case or unit onto pallets according to store orders, using a pick-by-voice system and working in a variety of temperature zones.
• Prepare loaded pallets for outbound deliveries.
• Take inventory counts and ensure accurate warehouse stock levels.
• Operate equipment according to safety guidelines while performing essential job functions.
