About The Position

The Warehouse Associate works on the Supply Chain/Purchasing team at the south rim of Grand Canyon National Park. This position collects and organizes products for delivery, then loads, delivers, and unloads products at specified locations. The role is full-time and year-round, typically scheduled for 40 hours over five days per week, with work potentially including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Pay is $17.20 per hour.

Requirements

Possess or obtain a valid Arizona Driver’s License within 90 days and comply with the company Driver Safety Program.
Be able to perform the stated physical requirements.
Have good written communication skills and basic math skills.
Have a basic understanding of Windows-based computer software.
Be willing to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

At least six months of previous warehouse experience.
Forklift and pallet jack experience.

Responsibilities

Safely drive, maneuver, and park a 16-foot delivery truck.
Safely and accurately assemble and complete daily stock requisitions according to the designated delivery schedule.
Off-load and store incoming deliveries as directed by the Warehouse Manager.
Store products and rotate perishable products in accordance with ServeSafe HACCP guidelines.
Notify the manager about visibly damaged, out-of-date, or otherwise potentially unacceptable products.
Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and loading dock, cleaning areas according to ServeSafe HACCP guidelines.
Keep the delivery vehicle clean and check vital fluid and fuel levels each time it is used.
Notify the Manager when planned vehicle maintenance is due or safety-related repairs are needed.
Follow safety risk management and ergonomic policies while performing duties.
Perform janitorial duties as assigned.
Support other purchasing department duties as directed by the Warehouse Manager.
