About The Position

Warehouse Associates handle loose freight and may load, unload, sort, stage, and transport products into and out of a distribution center or warehouse. They work cooperatively with other associates and productively with little supervision. Following company safety policies and procedures is important to the role.

The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The work may take place in a warehouse that is not air-conditioned or heated, so indoor temperatures can fluctuate with the seasons.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Must be able to perform physically exerting duties in a warehouse environment, which may not be air-conditioned or heated.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Computer experience, such as using order management systems including WMS.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions such as order picking.
• Load trucks, taking product weight, size, and characteristics into account.
• Use handheld scanners and equipment to comply with the warehouse management system.
• Work cooperatively with other warehouse associates.
• Help keep the facility clean, neat, and orderly.
• Provide outstanding customer service by paying attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner.
• Follow company or site-specific safety policies and guidelines to help ensure safe working conditions for self and others.
• Perform additional duties assigned by a supervisor.
