About The Position

Warehouse Associates handle loose freight and may load, unload, sort, stage, and transport products into and out of a distribution center or warehouse. They may perform order picking and load trucks, considering the weight, size, and characteristics of products. Associates use handheld scanners and warehouse management system equipment, work cooperatively with other associates, and complete assigned work with attention to detail and limited supervision. The role also involves maintaining a clean, neat, and orderly facility and following company or site-specific safety policies to ensure safe working conditions for themselves and others. Additional duties may be assigned by a supervisor.

The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Warehouse work may take place in an environment that is not air-conditioned or heated, so indoor temperatures can fluctuate with the seasons.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Must be able to perform physically exerting duties in a warehouse environment, which may not be air-conditioned or heated.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Computer experience, such as using order management systems including WMS.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions such as order picking.
• Load trucks while considering the weight, size, and characteristics of products.
• Use handheld scanners and equipment to comply with the warehouse management system.
• Work cooperatively with other warehouse associates.
• Help maintain the facility in a clean, neat, and orderly condition.
• Provide outstanding customer service by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner.
• Follow company or site-specific safety policies and guidelines to ensure safe working conditions for self and others.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by a supervisor.
