About The Position

As a warehouse selector on Wegmans’ distribution team, you will accurately and efficiently select products for Wegmans stores. You will help deliver exceptional service through attention to detail and teamwork. Overnight positions consist of four 10-hour shifts per week. Frozen positions earn an additional $2.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift 20–25 pounds on average, with maximum weights greater than 50 pounds lifted occasionally to frequently.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience operating a pallet jack, forklift, and Vocollect.

Responsibilities

• Build pallets safely and efficiently to minimize product damage during transportation and maximize trailer space.
• Safely operate equipment needed for job duties, which may include a forklift, pallet jack, and/or Vocollect.
• Perform order audits to determine accuracy and quality.
• Maintain knowledge of quality standards, specifications, and requirements for all products.
• Inform operations management of daily quality issues using reports and other necessary communication.
• Maintain the integrity of the cold chain on loads with temperature requirements.
