About The Position

Reporting to the Distribution Manager, the position is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of parts in the distribution center. This includes but is not limited to: shipping and receiving, sorting and stocking product, inventory management, replenishing, picking and packing, as well as other general duties as required. Modern Sales Co-op has been a leader in the distribution industry since 1935. Requirements

Completion of high school diploma, vocational experience, or a combination of experience and education
Warehousing & RF Scanner experience in a similar role
Ability to lift up to 75lbs
Ability to bend/crouch, climb stairs, and safely use ladders in order to retrieve materials and products
Proficient with shipping & inventory software, databases, and systems
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines
Must be able to work cohesively with employees and managers as part of a team

Responsibilities

Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
Operate reach & counterbalance trucks to handle skids and racking
Load/unload trucks, stocks shelves with products and materials
Pick customer orders accurately with RF scanners and/or manual ordering system
Prepare shipments and documents shipments using in house software
Verify goods and compare orders with packing slips and purchase orders
Assist with receiving documentation and paperwork as required
Perform general warehouse duties as may be required
