About The Position

Warehouse associates handle incoming and outgoing products and orders. The role involves inspecting pallets to ensure products match the SKU, maintaining accurate inventory and reporting, following invoicing and pickup procedures, and safely assisting clients with loading their orders. Associates maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse, support customer service, and work cooperatively while following company policies and procedures. Some locations may have crossover duties with Customer Service or Showroom Sales Representative roles.

Requirements

Excellent phone, email, and computer skills.
Ability to lift 100 lbs.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Close attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Self-motivated and proactive, with willingness to take the extra step.
Possess a flexible work schedule.

Nice To Haves

Prior warehouse experience.
Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment.
Manage inventory, conduct cycle counts, and assist with corporate inventory counts.
Report inventory discrepancies to the branch manager.
Assist customers with loading and unloading vehicles and follow invoicing procedures.
Follow receiving procedures, including thorough product inspections.
Maintain a warehouse breakage list and report it to the branch manager weekly.
Inspect forklifts and other warehouse equipment daily and report issues to the warehouse lead or branch manager.
Communicate with customer service staff about order discrepancies or issues.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, signage, and stock in the Factory Outlet and slab yard, where applicable.
Assist clients with questions about products or orders.
Pull stock orders and branch transfers and process them promptly.
Follow warehouse safety protocols and instructions.
Attend safety meetings and help conduct safety inspections.
Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism.
Multitask and prioritize work through effective time management.
Work cooperatively in a team environment.
Work within the company's policies, procedures, goals, and directives.
Perform other duties required for the position.
Where duties overlap with Customer Service or Showroom Sales Representative roles: learn current and new product lines; enter orders, follow up on back-orders, invoice orders, and follow pickup procedures; follow pulling, packing, strapping, staging, unloading, shipping, and receiving procedures; and comply with safety policies and protocols.
