About The Position

As a Warehouse Associate at Floor & Decor, you support the retail location by compiling orders, replenishing and moving merchandise on the sales floor or to customers’ vehicles, checking inventory and orders, serving customers, and operating a forklift. The role requires a friendly, organized, hardworking team player who can work accurately in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

The position involves occasional exposure to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles, with noise typically ranging from quiet to moderate. Physical duties include lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise moving objects; using hands and fingers to handle or feel; and frequently standing, walking, reaching, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic math skills.
• Warehouse experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
• Complete Floor & Decor forklift certifications.
• Where permitted by state law, pass a drug test to obtain certification to use heavy equipment.
• Ability to exert 30–60 pounds of force occasionally, 20–30 pounds frequently, and up to 20 pounds constantly to move objects.
• Frequently stand, walk, reach, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; often use hands and fingers to handle or feel.
