About The Position

OnTrac is hiring a seasonal Warehouse Associate (also described as a Seasonal Package Handler) to help move packages through its warehouse during the holiday season. The role is located at 375 W Apra St., Compton, CA 90220, and pays $18.00 per hour with weekly pay. No previous warehouse experience is required; training is provided.

Shifts are Monday through Friday, either 11:00 AM–6:30 PM or 2:00 PM–6:00 PM. Typical shifts are approximately 4–6 hours, and end times may vary based on package volume and business needs. The season runs from October 27, 2026, through January 1, 2027. This is a temporary seasonal, part-time position. Overtime pay is provided consistent with applicable law, and scheduled overtime may be required when business needs require. Seasonal team members may be considered for permanent positions after the assignment ends, but continued employment is not guaranteed.

This is an active, hands-on warehouse job that involves working with a team to safely and efficiently unload, sort, move, and load packages. Employees must be able to perform the listed physical tasks with or without reasonable accommodation, and may work in hot or cold warehouse environments where temperature control may be limited. The position offers flexible shift options, a seasonal bonus subject to location, assignment, and other terms, and premium pay for hours worked on New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.
• Repeatedly lift packages as described in the posting.
• Stand and/or walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and squat while handling packages.
• Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Work in hot or cold environments where warehouse temperature control may be limited.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Keep packages organized and moving safely and efficiently.
• Keep the work area organized and ready for action.
• Work with a team to help packages reach their next destination safely and on time.
