About The Position

OnTrac is hiring a seasonal package handler to help move holiday packages through its Visalia, California warehouse. This active, hands-on position involves working with a team to safely unload, sort, move, organize, and load packages so they reach their next destination on time. Training is provided, and previous warehouse experience is not required. The role pays $17.90 per hour with weekly pay and may include a $500 seasonal bonus; bonus eligibility, amount, and payment requirements may vary by location and assignment. Premium pay applies to hours worked on New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Overtime pay is provided consistent with applicable law, and overtime may be required when business needs require it.

The seasonal assignment is scheduled from October 27, 2026, through January 1, 2027. The posting lists shift schedules of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 5:00 PM to 11:30 PM and Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM; it also lists Monday through Wednesday and Saturday from 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Typical shifts are approximately 6–9 hours, and end times may vary based on package volume and business needs. Availability for weekends or holidays may be needed. Seasonal team members may be considered for available permanent positions after the assignment ends, based on eligibility and availability; continued employment is not guaranteed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.
• Repeatedly lift packages as described in the posting.
• Stand and/or walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and squat while handling packages.
• Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Be able to work in hot or cold environments where warehouse temperature control may be limited.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Keep packages organized and moving safely and efficiently.
• Keep the work area organized and ready for work.
• Work with a team to help packages reach their next destination safely and on time.
