About The Position

OnTrac is hiring seasonal, part-time Warehouse Associates (Package Handlers) to help move packages through its warehouse during the holiday season. Associates work alongside a team to unload, sort, move, and load packages, keeping them organized and moving safely and efficiently toward their next destination. Training is provided, and previous warehouse experience is not required.

The position is based at 1635 Main Ave. Ste 3, Sacramento, CA 95838, and pays $18.00 per hour. Workers must be available between 2:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. for one of two schedule options: Monday through Friday or Saturday through Thursday. Shifts are approximately five hours, though end times may vary based on package volume and business needs. The season runs from October 27, 2026, through January 1, 2027. Overtime may be required when business needs require it, with overtime pay consistent with applicable law. Seasonal employees may be considered for permanent openings after the assignment ends, based on eligibility and availability; continued employment is not guaranteed.

This is an active, hands-on warehouse role involving repeated package handling and physical tasks. Associates may work in hot or cold warehouse conditions where temperature control may be limited. The role requires dependable attendance for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Must meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Must be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.
• Must be able to repeatedly lift packages as described in the posting.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods during a scheduled shift.
• Must be able to frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and squat while handling packages.
• Must be able to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout a shift.
• Must be able to work in hot or cold environments where warehouse temperature control may be limited.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Keep packages organized and moving safely and efficiently.
• Keep the work area organized and ready for action.
• Work with a team to help packages reach their next destination safely and on time.
