About The Position

OnTrac is hiring a seasonal Warehouse Associate / Package Handler at its Romeoville, Illinois location. The role supports warehouse operations by safely unloading trailers, sorting packages by ZIP code, moving packages, and loading trucks for delivery. Associates help keep the workspace organized and ensure packages move safely and on time. No previous warehouse experience is required; training is provided.

This is a temporary seasonal position running from October 27, 2026, to January 1, 2027. The posted pay is $18.90 per hour, with an additional $1.00 per hour for weekend work on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The position is eligible for overtime pay under applicable law, and a seasonal bonus of $1,000 is advertised, subject to eligibility and other terms. Shifts are Saturday and Sunday, with listed options of 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.; hours may vary based on business needs, and an “End of Sort” shift concludes after required sorting and cleanup are completed. Continued employment after the seasonal assignment is not guaranteed, although team members may be considered for available permanent roles based on eligibility and availability.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Must be able to meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Must be able to repeatedly lift, push, pull, and move packages; the posting describes packages averaging 50 pounds, occasional items up to 75 pounds, and package handling up to 30–50 pounds independently, with team lifts for packages up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods and repeatedly bend, twist, reach, squat, lift, and perform other physical tasks throughout the shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to work in varying hot and cold warehouse temperatures.
• Must be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.
