About The Position

As a Warehouse Colleague, you will help create a seamless, customer-focused experience by receiving, storing, picking, packing, sorting, and shipping merchandise. You will handle items carefully, support on-time delivery, and help maintain a clean, organized, safe, and smoothly operating warehouse. The role also emphasizes a positive, respectful, and inclusive workplace where colleagues support one another.

Requirements

No education or experience is required.
Flexible availability for days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, with regular, reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to read and interpret instructional documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing customer expectations and needs.
Proficiency using computers and handheld technology.
Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors, and to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
Ability to stand and walk around the facility or department for prolonged periods, up to 12 hours excluding breaks.
Ability to reach above eye level, crouch, kneel, stoop, push, and pull.
Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50–75 pounds.
Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Ability to hear and see safety and emergency alarms and Power Industrial Truck warning devices.

Responsibilities

Load and unload cartons and merchandise to and from delivery trucks, conveyor systems, and other equipment.
Lift, carry, push, and pull packages on a continuous and repetitive basis while sorting and organizing merchandise.
Complete processing, receiving, and shipping activities on time and in accordance with productivity standards.
Accurately enter information using PCs, handheld computers, radio frequency equipment, and other devices; learn area-specific warehouse and proprietary systems.
Perform work safely and promptly report accidents and safety hazards to the safety committee.
Follow shift-start procedures, including wearing a name badge, following the dress code, attending start-ups, checking the work area, and staying informed about daily goals.
Work quickly and accurately, handle merchandise with care, and pack customer orders thoughtfully and neatly.
Foster positive relationships with coworkers by greeting and engaging colleagues, helping new teammates, and supporting others respectfully.
At the end of the shift, tidy the workstation, return equipment, replenish supplies, and recognize coworkers’ contributions.
Foster an accepting and respectful environment and build authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
