About The Position
The FEDFLO Specialist is responsible for protecting company assets and associates. The role supports facility security through access control, alarm response, audits, monitoring activity, enforcing facility rules, and completing required reports. The schedule is Monday through Friday and is flexible; details are discussed during the interview.
Requirements
- Knowledge of the FedFlo receiving system.
- Understanding of technology including EDI, ASN, and Direct Scan.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Two years of prior security experience.
- Prior distribution center experience.
- Ability to lift or move 50 pounds.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
- May occasionally need to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
Responsibilities
- Complete reports, including inbound and outbound trailer logs, common carrier logs, and discrepancy reports.
- Maintain access control for everyone entering and exiting the facility.
- Respond to the alarm system.
- Conduct audits on common carriers.
- Monitor associate activities.
- Monitor the activities of visitors and truckers.
- Enforce all facility rules and regulations.
- Perform other functions management deems essential.
