Day Shift Warehouse Associate, Refrigeration
About The Position
Warehouse Operations at Cardinal Health ensures an uninterrupted flow of life-saving drugs through the pharmaceutical supply chain. The team performs tasks involved in receiving, storing, and shipping sensitive products, helping hospitals and pharmacies provide essential pharmaceutical products to patients. The Warehouse Associate follows established processes to fulfill orders, including picking products accurately, completing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment. The role includes cross-training in multiple warehouse areas, participating in projects as needed, and completing housekeeping and inventory control tasks while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The associate must be willing to train and become certified to operate material handling equipment when required. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with overtime as business needs require. The pay rate is $20.70 per hour, including shift differential. Training is provided beginning on the first day, and candidates with little to no warehouse experience are welcome.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfort working regularly at heights of 20–30 feet.
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for the entire shift.
- Ability to follow directions and change priorities.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience working with technologies such as computers or point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Warehouse experience is not required; training is provided.
