Warehouse Associate (Contractor Conversion)

About The Position

The Assoc II, Warehouse Ops supports inbound and outbound warehouse activities as requested by the Warehouse Supervisor while meeting quality, safety, productivity, and operational standards. Inbound work includes receiving products; outbound work includes shipping products. Specialty products may require following regulations for refrigerated storage. New-hire training is scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST, with mandatory on-camera attendance. The position is full-time at 40 hours per week. Employees must be flexible to work any shift schedule during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. CST. The anticipated hourly range is $15.70 to $22.80. The position is not bonus eligible.

Requirements

Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for the entire shift.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Comfort working at heights of 20–30 feet regularly.
Flexibility to work any shift schedule during the stated normal business hours, Monday through Friday.
Mandatory on-camera attendance during new-hire training, scheduled 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST.

Nice To Haves

1–2 years of experience, preferred.
High school diploma, GED, equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

Unload inbound trucks using a pallet jack or equivalent device to move pallets out of trucks.
Use the Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in products.
Follow applicable regulations for storing refrigerated specialty products.
Store products in warehouse locations using an order picker or other devices.
Pick products from warehouse locations and load them into outbound trucks.
Meet applicable quality, safety, productivity, and operational standards.
