About The Position

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers and following the company’s customer experience principles. The role helps maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment and follows operational, merchandise, and loss-prevention standards. Associates may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs.

The position is part-time at the HomeGoods store at 300 Twenyninth Place Ct, Charlottesville, Virginia. The starting pay range is USD $13.75 to $14.25 per hour. Actual starting pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor accurately and according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and help maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
