About The Position
As a Warehouse Colleague, you help create a seamless, customer-focused experience behind the scenes by receiving, storing, picking, packing, sorting, and shipping merchandise. You handle items carefully and safely, keep the warehouse clean and organized, and contribute to on-time delivery and excellent service. The role requires precision, a commitment to safety, and a positive, respectful approach to supporting teammates. Colleagues complete processing, receiving, and shipping activities to productivity standards; use computers and handheld or radio-frequency equipment to enter information and work across warehouse and proprietary systems; and maintain safe, orderly work areas and equipment. Flexible availability is needed for days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on business needs. No education or experience is required. The position includes substantial physical activity, including repetitive handling and moving of packages weighing up to 50–75 pounds.

- Ability to adapt quickly, switch between tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
- Proficiency using computers and handheld technology.
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors, and to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50–75 pounds.
- Ability to reach above eye level, crouch, kneel, stoop, push, and pull.
- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Ability to hear and see safety and emergency alarms and Power Industrial Truck (PIT) warning devices.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload cartons and merchandise from and to delivery trucks, conveyor systems, and other equipment.
- Lift, carry, push, and pull packages continuously and repetitively while sorting and organizing merchandise.
- Complete processing, receiving, and shipping activities on time and in accordance with productivity standards.
- Accurately enter data using PCs, handheld computers, radio-frequency equipment, or similar devices, and learn area-specific functions across warehouse and proprietary systems.
- Perform work safely and promptly report accidents or safety hazards affecting safe operation to the safety committee.
- Prepare for shifts by following the dress code, attending start-ups, checking that the work area is ready, and staying informed about daily goals.
- Work quickly and accurately, handle merchandise carefully, and pack customer orders neatly.
- Build supportive relationships by greeting, assisting, and showing respect to coworkers, including new teammates.
- At the end of the shift, tidy the workstation, return equipment to its proper place, replenish supplies, and recognize coworkers' contributions.
- Foster an accepting and respectful environment that strengthens relationships and authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
