About The Position
As a Warehouse Colleague, you help create a seamless, customer-focused experience by receiving, storing, picking, packing, sorting, and shipping merchandise. You handle items carefully and safely, maintain a clean and organized work area, and contribute to timely delivery and excellent service. The role also emphasizes a positive, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere in which colleagues support one another. Colleagues may work full-time schedules, typically 30 or more hours per week, or part-time schedules, typically 12–24 hours per week. Actual hours depend on business needs and colleague availability. The position may involve shifts on days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Requirements
- No education or experience is required.

- Have flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Read and interpret instructional documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
- Adapt quickly to changing customer expectations and needs.
- Be proficient in using computers and handheld technology.
- Understand and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Stand or walk around the facility or department for prolonged periods, up to 12 hours excluding breaks.
- Frequently use computers and handheld electronic equipment.
- Reach, including above eye level, crouch, kneel, stoop, push, and pull.
- Lift and move items weighing up to 50–75 pounds.
- Have close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Hear and see safety and emergency alarms and Power Industrial Truck warning devices while on the warehouse floor.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload cartons and merchandise to and from delivery trucks, conveyor systems, and other equipment.
- Lift, carry, push, and pull packages on a continuous and repetitive basis while sorting and organizing merchandise.
- Complete processing, receiving, and shipping activities on time and in accordance with productivity standards.
- Enter data accurately using PCs, handheld computers, radio frequency equipment, or similar devices, and learn area-specific functions across warehouse and proprietary systems.
- Perform job functions safely and promptly report accidents or safety hazards to the safety committee.
- Prepare for each shift by wearing a name badge, following the dress code, attending start-ups, identifying support, checking the work area, and staying informed about daily goals.
- Prioritize customers by working quickly and accurately, handling merchandise with care, and packing customer orders thoughtfully and neatly.
- Build a welcoming and respectful workplace by greeting coworkers, building trust, helping new teammates, and supporting colleagues.
- At the end of the shift, tidy the workstation, return equipment, replenish supplies, and recognize coworkers' contributions.
- Foster acceptance, respect, and authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
