About The Position

The Warehouse Associate performs duties related to loading and unloading trucks, moving materials between storage and designated work sites, and using radio frequency (RF) inventory control software to process orders and materials. This is a 100% onsite role at the GOJO Wooster Campus. The position requires the ability to lift 50 pounds and may require travel between campus locations in Northeast Ohio as needed. No previous experience is required; proficiency can be obtained through on-the-job training. The role is non-exempt and offers a starting rate of $19.40 per hour. Team members are bonus eligible. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Ensure required components and supplies are available.
Verify part numbers, order numbers, batch numbers, purchase order numbers, and quantities to maintain inventory accuracy.
Process paperwork accurately in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Load and unload trucks and racks.
Use RF inventory software to process transfer orders, receive materials against purchase orders, and locate and retrieve materials from storage.
Operate material handling equipment safely.
Perform housekeeping duties and locate inventory.
Follow established safety procedures and report safety concerns immediately.
Perform visual quality checks on inventory.
Assist with orientation and training of new employees.
Serve as a backup to other team members.
Process on-hold or scrap materials according to procedure.
Perform or assist with cycle counts as needed.
Operate powered industrial transportation (PIT) equipment in accordance with SOPs and training.
Change batteries for department PIT equipment.
