About The Position

Würth Baer Supply Company is hiring a full-time, permanent Warehouse Associate for its distribution center in Rumford, Rhode Island. The role is direct-hire and offers year-round work. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET, with a one-hour lunch. Starting compensation is $22.00 per hour, paid biweekly.

The associate picks and packs customer orders, handles materials, loads and unloads trailers, and performs general housekeeping. The work involves standing for extended periods, lifting loads up to 70 pounds, adapting to temperature changes, learning new systems, working at a fast pace, and shifting among duties as needed. Pre-employment screening includes a 10-panel drug test that tests for THC; the posting states that any positive THC result fails the test. No criminal background check is conducted.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of warehouse experience performing similar duties.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to stand for 3 to 4 hours at a time.
• Ability to withstand fluctuating temperature changes.
• Ability to quickly learn new systems.
• Excellent work ethic and ability to excel in a quick-paced environment.
• Ability to pivot among different duties throughout the day as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders on foot using a hand cart.
• Handle materials using a pallet jack and, as needed, a sit-down propane forklift.
• Perform general housekeeping duties.
• Load and unload trailers.
