About The Position

OnTrac is hiring a seasonal Warehouse Associate, described in the posting as a Seasonal Package Handler, to help move holiday packages through its Fremont, California facility. The role is an active, hands-on warehouse position involving unloading, sorting, moving, and loading packages, keeping packages and work areas organized, and working with a team to deliver packages safely and on time. The seasonal assignment runs from October 27, 2026, to January 1, 2027. Seasonal employees may be considered for available permanent positions after the assignment ends, based on eligibility and availability; continued employment is not guaranteed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Must meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Must be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.
• Must be able to repeatedly lift packages as described in the posting.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Must be able to frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and squat while handling packages.
• Must be able to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Must be able to work in hot or cold warehouse environments, where temperature control may be limited.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Keep packages organized and moving safely and efficiently.
• Keep the work area organized and ready for work.
• Work with a team to help packages reach their next destination safely and on time.
• Complete required sort work and clean-up activities as directed by site management.

Benefits

• Weekly pay at $20 per hour.
• $500 seasonal bonus; eligibility, amount, and payment requirements may vary by location and assignment, and additional terms and conditions may apply.
• Premium pay for hours worked on New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
