About The Position

As a Warehouse Colleague, you help create a seamless, customer-focused experience behind the scenes by receiving, storing, picking, packing, sorting, and shipping merchandise. You handle items carefully and safely, maintain a clean and organized work area, and contribute to on-time delivery and excellent service. The role also involves using warehouse technology and supporting a positive, respectful, and inclusive workplace. Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled for 30 or more hours per week; hours depend on business needs and colleague availability.

Requirements

• No education or experience required.
• Flexible availability to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, with regular, reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, switch between tasks, and respond to changing customer expectations and needs.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Proficiency using computers and handheld technology.
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
• Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods, up to 12 hours excluding breaks.
• Ability to frequently use computers and handheld electronic equipment.
• Ability to reach above eye level, crouch, kneel, stoop, push, and pull.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50–75 pounds.
• Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Ability to hear and see safety and emergency alarms and Power Industrial Truck (PIT) warning devices.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload cartons and merchandise to and from delivery trucks, conveyor systems, and other equipment.
• Lift, carry, push, and pull packages repeatedly while sorting and organizing merchandise.
• Complete processing, receiving, and shipping activities on time and according to productivity standards.
• Accurately enter information using PCs, handheld computers, radio-frequency equipment, or similar devices, and learn area-specific warehouse and proprietary systems.
• Perform work safely and promptly report accidents or safety hazards affecting safe operations to the safety committee.
• Prepare for each shift by wearing a name badge, following the dress code, attending start-ups, checking work-area readiness, identifying available support, and staying informed about daily goals.
• Work quickly and accurately, handle merchandise carefully, and pack customer orders neatly and thoughtfully.
• Build positive relationships with coworkers by greeting them warmly, communicating respectfully, supporting new and existing teammates, and fostering an inclusive workplace.
• At the end of the shift, tidy the workstation, return equipment, replenish supplies, and recognize coworkers who contributed to the day's work.
• Foster acceptance and respect and build authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
