About The Position
The Warehouse Associate supports operations at the Logistics Center by helping ensure customers receive products in a timely and efficient manner. The role involves working as part of a team to meet deadlines and handling product picking, cycle counting, put-away, receiving, inventory control, and truck or trailer loading and unloading. The position pays $18 per hour. Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime may be required as business needs dictate. The distribution center may involve extreme temperatures, high noise levels, high places, wet or humid conditions, and outdoor weather.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of English for training and safety purposes.
- For Level II roles, at least one year of recent forklift or machine operating experience.
Nice To Haves
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred for Level I roles.
Responsibilities
- Verify products to reduce errors while picking, cycle counting, putting away, and receiving products.
- Receive packages and ensure they are properly put away.
- Maintain the integrity of the cycle count process in inventory control.
- Handle trucks and trailers appropriately during loading and unloading.
- Unpack and check received goods against purchase orders or invoices.
- Complete pick functions, including Paper Pick, Paper Smart Pick, Paperless Pick, Parcel Batch Pick, and LTL Pick.
- Lift heavy items and potentially operate a forklift.
