About The Position
ClearView Building Maintenance Inc. is hiring a Cleaning/Janitorial Technician to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards at an assigned facility. This stable, specialized role calls for consistency, attention to detail, and a commitment to keeping the location clean and hygienic. The position offers one-on-one on-the-job training, ongoing performance evaluation and communication, and opportunities for exceptional employees to pursue a developing leadership pathway. The position starts at 3:30 p.m. and is 15–25 hours per week. The work is at a consistent, site-specific location on a routine schedule, typically with fixed shifts. The technician may work with other cleaning staff when the location requires it and reports to a Zone Supervisor or Lead Technician.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Meet insurance requirements.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to remain on your feet for the entirety of the assigned shift.

- Reliable commute to Flint, Michigan, or plans to relocate before starting work.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks at the assigned location.
- Gather and empty trash and replace bin liners.
- Sweep, mop, and/or vacuum floors and clean baseboards.
- Dust vents, office furniture, equipment, sills, wall-mounted objects, and other surfaces according to schedule.
- Restock paper products, soaps, and other supplies.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, exam rooms, offices, break rooms, and other areas.
- Clean high-touch points, including glass, chrome fixtures, and phones.
- Request supplies as needed.
- Maintain clean and organized janitor storage areas.
- Secure buildings by locking doors and turning alarm systems on or off.
- Notify the manager when a building requires minor repairs.
- Follow location-specific cleaning requirements and company standards.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the site manager.
