About The Position

The Warehouse Associate is part of the WEC/DC team in Jackson, Tennessee. The role handles returned units and related processing, including identifying models and kit types, recognizing processing requirements, recording date-code information in a computer, and entering data for specific return SKUs. Associates follow written and verbal instructions and safety guidelines, contribute to team goals for safety, quality, delivery, and cost, and follow the site environmental policy. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., at $22.15 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
One year of experience in a manufacturing or distribution-center environment.
Ability to perform all required assignments in the WEC Admin Area.
Computer skills, including the ability to enter data and navigate instructional screens.

Responsibilities

Handle and lift units from the floor to a conveyor.
Identify model numbers and kit types.
Recognize processing requirements.
Identify date codes and transfer information into a computer.
Enter data for specific return SKUs, navigate computer screens, follow instructions, and process items properly.
Read, understand, and follow written instructions.
Follow verbal instructions.
Work safely and follow all safety guidelines and rules.
Participate in achieving team goals for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Understand and follow the Jackson site's environmental policy and the environmental impacts associated with work activities.
Be available for work as scheduled and arrive on time.
