About The Position

The Warehouse Associate supports operations at a Logistics Center by helping ensure customers receive products in a timely and efficient manner. The role involves working with a team to meet deadlines and handling warehouse processes including picking, cycle counting, put-away, receiving, inventory control, and loading and unloading. Associates may lift heavy items and operate a forklift. The position is in a distribution center environment that may involve extreme temperatures, high noise levels, elevated areas, wet or humid conditions, and outdoor weather. Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime may be required as business needs dictate.

Requirements

• For level II roles, at least 1 year of recent forklift or machine-operating experience is required.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred for level I roles.
• Previous material-handling experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify products during picking, cycle counting, put-away, and receiving to reduce errors and support customer satisfaction.
• Receive packages and ensure they are properly put away.
• Maintain the integrity of the inventory cycle-count process.
• Handle trucks and trailers appropriately during loading and unloading.
• Unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices.
• Complete pick functions, including Paper Pick, Paper Smart Pick, Paperless Pick, Parcel Batch Pick, and LTL Pick.
• Lift heavy items and, where applicable, operate a forklift.
