About The Position

The Warehouse Associate, also known as a Material Handler or Returnable Plastic Container (RPC) Sorter, hand-sorts reusable plastic containers used to ship produce, eggs, meat, and other goods. The role supports efficient, accurate site operations by sorting containers onto pallets for manufacturers.

This position is located at 3965 Aero Place, Lakeland, Florida 33811. The schedule is Friday through Sunday, 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. The hourly pay is $17.00.

Requirements

• High school degree or GED.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Hand-stack RPCs on pallets to the appropriate height, following inventory control instructions.
• Examine products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Remove all trash and debris before containers are returned to the customer.
• Wrap sorted pallets and secure them for shipment.
• Move pallets or materials on pallets or in crates around the storage facility.
• Complete paperwork accurately to track daily progress.
• Communicate regularly with the Shift Lead or On-Site Manager.
