Warehouse Associate (Part Time, Night Shift)
About The Position
Warehouse Operations performs and controls manual or automated tasks needed to receive, store, and ship products. The work supports efficient product flow from vendor receipt through shipment to internal and external customers. Warehouse team members receive and fulfill orders so customers can obtain products needed to care for patients. This part-time role is scheduled Sunday through Thursday from 11:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. Team members follow established processes to fulfill orders, including picking products, conducting quality checks, packing, and preparing shipments. The role also involves cross-training in warehouse areas, inventory and housekeeping tasks, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and training and certification to operate material-handling equipment as required.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfort working regularly at heights of 20–30 feet.
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for the entire shift.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to follow directions and change priorities.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established performance quotas and attendance requirements.
- Basic proficiency in English, including the ability to read and write English to process documents.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with technologies such as computers or point-of-sale systems.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Warehouse experience is not required; training is provided beginning on the first day.
Responsibilities
- Accurately pick products, perform quality control checks, pack products, and prepare orders for shipment according to established processes.
- Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
- Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Train and obtain certification to operate material-handling equipment as required by job duties.
