About The Position

The Warehouse Associate supports Best Buy’s daily warehouse operations by receiving, organizing, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise. The role involves safely handling products, accurately processing inventory, and maintaining an organized work area. Warehouse Associates follow company safety and operational procedures and work with team members to help ensure merchandise is handled and processed efficiently. The position is located in Staten Island, New York.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience in a retail, warehouse, logistics, or operations environment.
• Strong attention to detail when handling merchandise and processing inventory.
• Ability to perform essential physical duties, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, and moving merchandise, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.
• Awareness of workplace safety procedures and safe merchandise handling.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Receive and safely unload merchandise deliveries.
• Inspect and verify shipments by checking quantities, product numbers, and condition.
• Pack, label, and stage merchandise for shipment or customer pickup.
• Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
• Use scanners and inventory systems to track merchandise and update inventory records.
• Load and move merchandise safely, following proper lifting and handling procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
• Work effectively with the team.
